White-eyed Slaty Flycatcher (Melaenornis fischeri)
…a species of Old-World flycatcher (Muscicapidae) that is native to the African highlands, ranging from Ethiopia and Kenya through East Africa, eastern Zaire and Malawi. Although M. fischeri is mainly a highland bird, it is also found in wooded habitats including gardens. Adult M. fischeri are typically seen singly or in pairs and true to their common name feed mainly on insects. White-eyed slaty flycatcher will either take their prey from the ground or catch them in the air by hawking.
